OUR POLICIES

BOOKING:

 

For all photography sessions we require a non-refundable deposit and also serves as a cancellation fee, no exceptions. This fee covers initial communication, all planning, location hunting, and serves as your reservation booking. However deposits can be transferable upon approval under communicated circumstances. All remaining balances are due before the start of the session. 

CLIENT CANCELLATION:

 

We require a 7 day cancellation notice or client forfeits their deposit paid to book the session. If the client notifies under the allotted time, the deposit can be credited towards a future session only if the client reschedules within 7-14 days of original session date. If rescheduling more than 60 days out, a new deposit will be required.

COMPANY CANCELLATION:

If Dancing Grass Studios cannot perform duties in agreement due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer’s/Videographer's illness or emergency, then the Photographer/Videographer shall return the deposit to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the agreement. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer/Videographer.

TARDINESS:

 

Please plan enough time to get to your session. Whether that is getting the kids ready or navigating through rush hour traffic. If you are running late, please call us. We respect every single client's time and put an incredible amount of effort into scheduling and planning a session, so please respect ours. If you have a 60 minute session scheduled and you are 20 minutes late, you will then have a 40 minute session. If you are more than 30 minutes late without calling, you will forfeit your deposit and we will have the right to cancel the session. We of course understand unforeseen circumstances such as illness or accidents. If we are late, we will communicate that with you and your session duration will not be affected.

 

ABANDONED OR POSTPONED PROJECTS:

 

We reserve the right to terminate the project if the timeline extends beyond the original estimated completion date as a result of changes or delays requested by the Client. Additionally, we reserve the right to terminate the project if the Client changes their vision for the project in a manner that is not in line with the original scope of work agreed upon.

DEPOSIT/REFUND:

The Client shall pay the Company a deposit of 50% of the total project cost upon acceptance of the Service Agreement. The remaining balance shall be due upon completion of the project. All deposit fees are non-refundable. Deposits are required to begin production or reserve a date and time.

  • What Services do you offer?
    We offer creative services your organization or business. Services include: Photography, Video Editing, Videography, Web Design, Graphic Design, Branding, Content Creation, Product Photography, Event Production, Creative Direction
  • What is your turnaround time for photography?
    5-7 Business Days
  • What is your turnaround time on a website?
    7-8 Week Process from beginning to end. Time may decrease or increase depending on the amount of pages and turnaround time of website content provided by the client.
  • What are your Business hours?
    Monday-Friday 10am-6pm
  • What's included in Staged Product Photography?

  • Do you offer Website Maintenance?
    Yes, but we like to call it “Support plans” because we’re providing peace of mind and complete access to us with our website support plans. We offer a variety of plans to fit your business model. View Support Plans

  • How do I get a quote?
    You can fill out our form on the contact page or you can give us a call at (336) 403-5009
  • Where do I send or drop off my products for product photography?
    If you’re local we can schedule a time for an Artist to pick up your products, mailing if you're long distant or schedule a time to drop by the studio.
  • Who owns my logo?
    The client owns the rights to the FINAL logo choice. Any rejected/unused concepts are the sole property of Dancing Grass Studios LLC. The ownership/copyright of the logo doesn’t transfer to the client until the design has been paid for in full; up until then Dancing Grass Studios retain full ownership. Dancing Grass Studios retains personal rights to use the completed project and any preliminary designs for the purpose of marketing Dancing Grass Studios’ business, abilities and portfolio.
  • Where are you located?
    We’re based out of Winston Salem, but we travel wherever you need us to.
  • What type of Photography do you offer?

  • Do you offer rush/expedited services?
    No, we believe in providing unwavering quality all great work, takes time.
  • What is your refund policy?
